Allen & Shariff is proud to announce the completion of the Dick's Sporting Goods Corporate Headquarters in Findlay Township, Pennsylvania. In addition to merchandising rooms, executive offices, and staff workspaces the international headquarters includes a complete athletic facility, auditorium, employee café, airstrip and hangar for the corporate jet. Allen & Shariff, working with Strada Architecture, performed complete MEP & IT design for the $150 Million, 670,000 SF new construction project. The project recently won NAIOP Pittsburgh Awards in the "Build-To-Suit" and "Green Building - Office" categories.

Design included detailed energy analysis and tradeoff studies of various types of HVAC equipment and systems to provide the lowest life cycle cost and to meet LEED requirements for the project. The mechanical systems consist of a central chilled water plant with central hot water generation for heating. The air distribution is via an underfloor air distribution system in 80% of the spaces.
